Why Socks? Clean socks are important for all of us. They keep feet clean and dry, and in hot and humid environments, helps pull sweat from the skin and helps prevent skins conditions such as infections and blisters. Many bacteria thrive in warm moist environments. Access to clean dry socks can go a long way in avoiding foot infections.
What Can YOU Do? Bring new, white, athletic style socks to the Club meeting on Monday, April 24th.
Toiletries? We are also collecting unopened sample sized toiletries. Shampoo, soap and deodorant.
Beneficiary: All socks and toiletries will be donated organizations that serve the homeless populations in our area.
