Carey Hepler from RC West Jacksonville is coordinating a drive to collect shoes and t-shirts from participants at the Gate River Run.
Donate your used running shoes and t-shirts at the 2017 Gate River Run Expo. All donations are kept local. The shoes go to the St. Francis Soup Kitchen and to the Downtown Ecumenical Services Council. The t-shirts are donated to Rethreaded.
“Shoes are like gold!” There are never enough to go around.
If you or any of your friends/family are running River Run this year, please have them bring their old running shoes to the River Run Expo on the Thursday or Friday before the race and on race day.
We will be taking shoes and t-shirts on Race Day.
We will have a tent set up outside of the River Run Expo.
