Area of Focus: Promoting Peace
The Veterans Council of St. Johns County, Florida, through a collaboration with the Rotary Club of Palatka, presented to all five public libraries in Putnam County, Florida, complete DVD sets from their documentary series of interviews of local veterans; the documentaries are regular features on PBS and presented annually as part of Veterans Day services at the University of North Florida.
